The Polytechnic of Bari Welcomes Delegation from South China University of Technology for GreenLife4Seas Presentation!
On October 14th, 2024, the Polytechnic of Bari had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the South China University of Technology (SCUT) as part of a collaborative exchange between the two institutions. The meeting, held at the Politecnico di Bari campus, provided an opportunity to present the GreenLife4Seas project and discuss ongoing research initiatives.
During the event, Politecnico di Bari's team delivered a detailed presentation focused on the "Research Project for Reusing Port Dredging Materials." The session was followed by a guided visit to the Geotechnical Laboratory, where the delegation had a firsthand look at the innovative technologies and research methodologies in use.
Representing the Polytechnic of Bari, Eng. Professor Claudia Vitone, Rossella Petti, Marzieh Kianimehr, and Gianpietro Pesce took part in the discussions, emphasizing the university’s dedication to sustainable practices in maritime environments and circular economy solutions. The meeting also laid the groundwork for future collaborations between the two institutions.
