LIFE GreenLife4Seas at RETASTE 2025 in Athens!
On 25 September 2025, the LIFE GreenLife4Seas (GL4S) project participated in the international conference RETASTE: Rethink Food Resources, Losses and Waste, held in Athens, Greece.

The conference brought together experts, researchers, and policy makers from across Europe to discuss innovative solutions for reducing food waste, promoting resource efficiency, and advancing circular economy models.
Dr. Rossella Petti from the Polytechnic University of Bari represented the GL4S project, presenting its innovative approach to the sustainable reuse of dredged sediments and marine by-products. Her contribution highlighted how GL4S is developing circular processes that support both environmental protection and the blue economy.
Participation in RETASTE 2025 offered the project team an important opportunity to share experiences, strengthen collaborations with other EU-funded initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on sustainability and circular innovation in the Mediterranean region.
