A new thesis strengthens the link between GreenLife4Seas and academic research!

Collaboration between the GreenLife4Seas project and the academic world continues to grow. At Polytechnic of Bari, a new Master’s thesis developed within the framework of the project has recently been defended, highlighting its relevance not only in applied contexts but also in higher education and research.

The thesis, entitled “Reuse of dredged marine sediments with low environmental impact binders”, was authored by Dr. Francesca Pia Maratea as part of the MSc programme in Civil Engineering – Geotechnical Curriculum, at the Department of Civil, Environmental, Land, Building Engineering and Chemistry (DICATECh).

The thesis was supervised by Prof. Claudia Vitone, with Eng. Rossella Petti as co-supervisor.

This achievement further confirms GreenLife4Seas as a valuable reference framework for knowledge transfer, academic excellence and the development of innovative, environmentally responsible engineering solutions.
