LIFE GREENLIFE4SEAS presented at the BlueMissionMed Policy4Med Workshop in Bari!
On March 27, Dr. Rossella Petti from Politecnico di Bari presented the LIFE GREENLIFE4SEAS project at the Policy4Med Designathon – Regional Edition, held within the BlueMissionMed Workshop to Policy-Makers in Bari. The event brought together policymakers and experts to promote innovative solutions for the restoration of oceans and waters in the Mediterranean.
BlueMissionMed, funded by the Horizon Europe program, serves as the Mediterranean Lighthouse for the EU Mission “Restore Our Oceans and Waters by 2030.” It aims to foster collaboration and develop solutions to prevent and eliminate pollution through technological, social, and governance-based innovations.
The LIFE GREENLIFE4SEAS project aligns with this mission by proposing sustainable solutions for the reuse of dredged sediments and shells, helping to reduce marine pollution and promote a circular economy. The participation of the project in this workshop highlights its role in advancing innovative strategies for environmental protection and sustainability in the Mediterranean region.
