GreenLife4Seas: Sediment Sampling Activity at the Port of Barletta!

Project GreenLife4Seas project, focused on developing innovative solutions for the sustainable recovery and reuse of materials like mussel shells and dredged sediments, has taken another significant step forward.

On November 27th, at the Port of Barletta, the project team, including Prof. Claudia Vitone, Dr. Rossella Petti, and PhD candidate Marzieh Kianimehr, carried out an important sediment sampling activity.

These sediments, along with recovered mussel shells, will be transformed into sustainable by-products through an advanced mixing technology developed within GreenLife4Seas.

This initiative marks a crucial milestone in promoting circular economy and environmental sustainability, demonstrating how materials often considered waste can become valuable resources.

Stay tuned for updates on the project's upcoming activities and achievements!
