GreenLife4Seas at the 'Re-think Circular Economy Forum' 2024!

We are proud to announce that the GreenLife4Seas (GL4S) project actively participated in the Re-think Circular Economy Forum 2024held in Taranto from October 2nd to 4th. This prestigious event brought together experts and stakeholders from various sectors to discuss innovative solutions for a sustainable and circular future.

The GL4S team had the honor of showcasing the project’s objectives, early results, and prototypes at a dedicated stand. The display focused on the innovative aspects of GL4S, emphasizing the importance of transforming waste into resources and preserving marine ecosystems.

A highlight of the event was the presentation delivered byEng. Professor Claudia Vitone from Polytechnic of Barion October 4th, 2024, titled "When Dredged Marine Sediments Meet Mussel Shells: A Story of Engineering to Tell." The talk explored the engineering innovations behind the project, demonstrating how sustainable practices can be applied to protect marine environments while promoting circularity.

Partners who took part in the event are Polytechnic of Bari (Claudia Vitone, Petti Rossella, Yadav Pravendra, Marzieh Kianimehr), ISPRA (Sara Dastoli), and CNR.IRSA Taranto (Marcella Naracci, Magda Di Leo), whose expertise enriched our participation and contributed to meaningful discussions on sustainability and innovation.
